WORKING WITH GSIR

I was challenged to work within the identity and brand standards set by the global company, Sotheby’s International Realty. While I had extensive brand guidelines to follow, I was able to create a unique voice for our local branch here in Montana and still easily connect with the global scale the Sotheby’s International Realty brand offers.

LIVE MONTANA MAGAZINE

Designed and produced. This annual publication was in need of a major overhaul from previous editions. I elevated the 2021 LIVE Montana Magazine to better fit our adjusted brand standards, designed the magazine to have a more modern touch as well as expanded the shelf life by add in more articles and resources for a viewer could read year round; turning this publication into not only a place to find your next luxury estate on Flathead Lake as soon as it hits the racks, but to also learn more about the brand and the challenges faced in real estate during the covid pandemic. System creation way a key role in creating consistency throughout the magazine.

PROPERTY PROMOTION
MATERIALS

To help distinguish the types of properties Glacier Sotheby’s International Realty sells, we moved away from using the same templates for items like postcards and brochures and created new designs to help represent the different lifestyles we offer. Based on a property feature (waterfront properties, large land and ranches, up on Whitefish Mountain Resort or even located on golf courses) i created new templates that work within the Sotheby’s programs to autofill in property details and photo to highlight that specific property now using the lifestyle approach while still having the signature Sotheby’s International Realty elements.

 

ADVERTISING

Not only was I the head of creative and design for local, regional and national ads, I also had to organize and selectively choose publications that met our budget and demographic needs. I therefore also needed to create an advertising calendar for agents to know when they have the ability to promote a property and at what price. This required constant communication and relations with all magazine teams to negotiate contracts, ad space and pricing as well as stay organized and retain all the different advertising specifications for each different publication.

PROPERTY PROPOSALS

Many time our top agents have to give a presentation to a potential seller on why they should choose that agent and Glacier Sotheby’s International Realty to represent their property. Being able to give highly visual graphics to go along with the meeting is an important aspect to showing the professionalism of the agent, the research the agent has put into their particular property and how GSIR and SIR are is the brand that can do the most for them.

SOCIAL MEDIA TEMPLATES

Even though I was not managing the social pages for GSIR, I still needed to update the templates used to better match the new direction of the GSIR branding while still following the guidelines set forth by Sotheby’s International Realty. This included new property announcements, just sold posts, quarterly market updates, client testimonials and social media ad designs.

GUIDES

The redesign for the Marketing Overview, Home Seller’s Guide and Home Buyer’s Guide was a pleasure to tackle. These materials are what set the tone to an agents potential client for all that Glacier Sotheby’s and Sotheby’s International Realty can offer. Set with amazing property photography from all 6 of our regions and information content, these marketing materials sealed the deal for many agents to get a listing or new buyer..

REPORTS

Turning boring statical reports into beautiful publications that makes agents want to share with clients, as well as sharing with other SIR offices and promoting through social media ads. Creation of a yearly Resort Report and Lakefront Property Report shows the price variations to similar Resort or Lake areas in North America. Our Quarterly Micro Market Report shows the year over year stats of our local markets. All publications have the intent to share the rising prices and how quickly properties sell to encourage selling and buying; now is the time.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Working with the global brand advertising team to highlight our local Montana agents and properties in online publications like Inman, Mansion Global, Apartment Therapy and more! I was constantly submitting for opportunities which meant I had to be up to date on active properties and their unique features as well as individual agent strengths and knowledge of their expertise areas of the market.

AGENT ONBOARDING
PROGRAM

I was tasked with creating a marketing onboarding program for when new agents join the GSIR tam. There is a series of 3 meetings designed to inform the agents of the GSIR and SIR brand, what marketing power comes with the name, and what the specific GSIR marketing team offers the agent to help promote themselves as well as their properties. This also takes a deep dive into the programs, apps and tools the brand offers, meaning I needed to know how to teach an agent with no technology skills how to use all those resources.
